meet Linnea Ward
Pre-Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy under supervision of Allie Johnson, LMFT, SEP.
I believe therapy should be a space where people feel genuinely understood rather than judged or seen as “too much.” I am especially passionate about working with individuals experiencing emotional dysregulation, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and neurodivergence, including ADHD and autism-related challenges.
I also connect deeply with parents navigating the challenges of raising children with behavioral, emotional, learning, or neurodivergent needs. Parenting in these situations can often feel isolating, exhausting, and emotionally overwhelming. I understand the stress families may experience while navigating school systems, IEPs, behavioral concerns, evaluations, and the ongoing challenge of advocating for their child’s needs. My goal is to provide a compassionate and supportive space where parents feel heard, understood, and empowered.
My approach is collaborative, relational, and grounded in authenticity. I value creating strong therapeutic connections while helping clients better understand themselves, improve emotional regulation, strengthen relationships, and develop practical tools that support long-term growth and resilience. Therapy is not about “fixing” who you are — it is about building greater understanding, confidence, balance, and connection in your life and relationships.

“We think we listen, but very rarely do we listen with real understanding, true empathy. Yet listening, of this very special kind, is one of the most potent forces for change that I know.”
