meet Jen Welo
Jen is a pre-licensed Marriage and Family Therapist working toward licensure and Independent Contractor.
Jen supports couples, intimate partners, families, and individuals build stronger, more connected relationships. With a warm and direct approach, she works with clients to explore patterns and improve communication, often unearthing what is longing to be said. Jen believes healing isn't linear and happens at our own pace, with ups and downs along the way. She focuses on the importance of self-compassion, humor, and slowing down in the journey for change.
Jen welcomes all relationship structures and supports LGBTQIA2S+ folks. She works from a systemic lens, using family systems, attachment theory, ritual, art, and more. Jen tends to work with folks experiencing anxiety, sexual concerns, creative blocks, spirituality, and life changes.
Jen works under the supervision of Samantha Colai. Outside work, she enjoys eating good food, reading, solving puzzles, and jumping in cold lakes.
